The NJIT Day of Giving is a one-day, online fundraising event that will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. On this day, we ask that all NJIT alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends visit URL to be determined to make an online donation to support NJIT. Spread the word about this event on social media using the hashtag #NJITDayofGiving.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, simply visit URL to be determined, click the "Give Now" button and fill out the brief donation form.
You choose where you donation is allocated! You can make your gift to the Annual Fund – which supports our areas of greatest need – or to one of the six colleges, a student organization, or sports team that has special meaning to you. Wherever you choose to direct your gift – you will have an impact on today's students, faculty, staff and future generations of Highlanders.
If the area of campus you want to designate your gift towards is not on the list, simply select "Other," then scroll down to the comments field and type in where you would like your donation to go.
Yes! All of the smaller gifts really add up! A gift of $10 will make a difference and have an impact on the students. In addition, every gift increases NJIT's alumni participation rate, which in turn raises our profile in the national rankings and increases the value of an NJIT degree.
Since NJIT’s Day of Caring is a virtual event. All donations must be made via the NJIT Day of Caring website (to be determined) to be counted in the day's totals.

Absolutely! The online donation form allows you the opportunity to make multiple gifts and impact as many areas of campus as you choose.
We greatly appreciate your support and don't want you to feel obligated to make a second gift this year. However, feel free to take this opportunity to think of NJIT’s Day of Giving as offering a second donation which may encourage other donors to make their initial gift in support of the university. Choose an area of campus to support and - large or small - feel free to make that additional donation.
Yes! All gifts to NJIT’s Day of Caring are considered a donation to the university. Your gift will be acknowledged electronically and a printed receipt mailed for your tax records.
